Nokia Lumia 800 was announced on 26th October previous year. It has gained a great market share with an amazing number of likes and popularity. It is capturing new markets slowly but wisely. The next target is Australia, so people just get ready to welcome Nokia’s first Windows Phone at the end of the first quarter in March

It would be available through carriers like Optus, Telstra, and Vodafone and from major retailers. Future owners will be able to choose from black, blue (Cyan) and pink (Magenta).

“Interest locally for Nokia Lumia, our first range of Nokia with Windows Phone devices, has been extremely positive, with a significant appetite from operators and retailers looking to offer consumers a real smartphone alternative”, said Chris Carr, Nokia Australia’s managing director.

In 2011, Nokia promised to bring Microsoft apps to Symbian powered mobile phones and finally they have completed there promises.Microsoft Apps, namely Lync, OneNote and Office were now available for Nokia Belle devices through Nokia Suite.

Here’s a summary of the Microsoft Apps that were announced by Nokia to come the Symbian:

• Microsoft® Lyncâ„¢ 2010 Mobile – for cost efficient IM, presence, audio and web meetings on-the-go.
• Microsoft® PowerPoint® Broadcast – quick broadcast of presentations directly from PC to mobile.
• Microsoft® OneNoteâ„¢ – rich note taking with images. Syncs with Microsoft® SkyDrive®.
•  Microsoft® Document Connection – single view to documents stored on mobile, including email attachments as well as documents on Microsoft® SharePoint® 2010 sites.
• Microsoft® OneNote sync with SharePoint (in addition to SkyDrive)
